New Online University Degree in Criminal Justice

It's estimated that online education grew by almost 17% in 2009, with over 5 million students currently enrolled. These figures look set to increase further as more schools roll out online university degrees in an ever greater range of subjects. Valdosta State University (VSU) in Georgia, for example, just launched a new online degree program in criminal justice, as well as office administration and legal assistant studies.
The programs have been added as a convenience to students who live too far from campus to commute back and forth regularly, according to a professor at the school. The new degree programs will significantly expand the school's online offerings, which previously were limited to basic core curriculum classes, special education, English, political science, sign language, sociology, philosophy, adult and career education and nursing.
